Push Pin Fridays - Fall Entryway Decor

Every year I try to think of something new for our fall entry way and then fall back to my faithful decorations- four potted mums with a couple of pumpkins and a fall wreath on the door.  It's cute but basic... maybe next year my entryway will be as beautiful as the one I found below on Pinterest.  I absolutely love it!

I pinned this recipe for Fried Apple Pancake Rings and am so curious to try this recipe out.  It looks interesting and fun to make too!  I hope they taste as good as they look :-).

Push Pin Fridays - Crochet Floor Cushions

I happened upon these great crochet floor cushions and immediately fell in love.. aren't they great?!?!  I look at these and have visions of Miss N lounging on the floor in the basement looking through here latest "Monkey" book.  Plus, the colors are so vibrant and fun that they'll just make the room.  I cannot wait to get something like this in the basement... for now it'll just hang out on my Pinterest board :-).

I don't know about you but this crazy heat is making me dream of fall...  and I found this perfect little apple pie dessert on Pinterest today.  Doesn't this look wonderful?!?!  If only it was apple season already :-)!

{pinterest fun} : {hula hoop activities}

Last weekend I bought a hula hoop for Miss N.  It's a tot sized version of the hoop we all grew up loving.  So far my tiny tot has gotten a lot of giggles out of watching daddy and mommy try to hula hoop (and quite unsuccessfully!) and hasn't tried to do it yet.  We have played "catch the stuffed animal" with the hoop and we've hopped in and out of the hoop but I felt like there was so much more we could be doing.  Alas... a little Google search later and I found my favorite "pin" for the day....
